Setting up Alexa

If you have been receiving Alexa via another way, then it would be best if you unsubscribe before introducing this new way.

Follow the steps to learn how to set up your device.

1. Open Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet

2. Choose More (located in the bottom right of the app)

3. Choose Skills and Games

4. Using the magnifying glass ‘Search’ symbol click and type in ‘BWBF’

5. Click on LAUNCH. You should see at the bottom of the screen the name of the device you want to use. Click on the correct device and, if required, press ‘Done’

7. To operate: say “Alexa, Open Talking Newspaper’. When she asks which newspaper you want to listen to say, “Alexa, Gloucester Talking Newspaper”.
